RUMI ACADEMY FOR EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE (RAFEE) GILGIT-BALTISTAN
Introduction:

Education is the engine of the development of any nation. The development of Gilgit-Baltistan is also conditioned on the provision of quality education to the youth. The provision of quality education is not possible without the provision of quality Early Childhood Education to children of early age. In this context, some of the prominent intellectuals of this area have badly felt the scarcity of quality educational ECED institutes to cater to the young minds according to the need of the time. The future of any nation is entirely attributed to the mindset of the young generation. In the Holy Quran, the human being has been advised to seek education from cradle to grave. In the modern era, science has proved the wisdom behind the start of education from the cradle in the form of Early Childhood Development (ECD). The small kids are completely dependent upon their elders in terms of food shelter and learning. It is up to the caregivers not only to keep his/her duty towards the kids in terms of physical needs but most importantly the mental, psychological, and intellectual requirements also.
The establishment of Rumi Academy for Educational Excellence (RAFEE) is an effort to provide quality ECED education to children. It aims to provide quality ECED education to children who are still deprived of ECED educational services in some areas of Gilgit Baltistan. The Directors of Rumi Academy sought technical assistance and guidance from different educational institutes within GB as well as across the country to assist the proposed academy in its early stages. The well-known educational institutes and educational leaders have ensured to play their due role to materialize the dream of an ideal educational academy in the form of Rumi Academy for Educational Excellence (RAFEE). The prerequisite for ensuring quality is following the policy of merit whether it is a selection of students or the recruitment of staff.
Students Admission:
In the initial phase, admissions will be offered from ECD1 to ECD03. For ECD1 admission will be given on the basis of first come and first serve whereas in ECD2 and ECD3 students will be selected after going through a written test and interview.
Admission Criteria:
Playgroup 2 to 2.5 years of age
ECD-01 3 years of age
ECD-02 4 years of age
Learning and Earning:
In the field of education, learning, and earning are inextricably connected with each other for both teachers and students. The Academy will not only offer reasonable remuneration but wants to invest a handsome amount on the Learning and development of its staff.
School infrastructure:
The infrastructure of a school is also having a major part to make an enabling environment for learning. The campus will be fully equipped and along with human resources, the management will also give equal importance to material resources.
Transportation Facility:
The management will give an opportunity for transport contractors on some reasonable terms and conditions to safely provide pick and drop facility to students as well as staff of the Academy.

We have a vision of a center of educational excellence in Northern Areas that fosters independent, responsible, caring, moral, ethical community leaders with commitment and motivation of achieving their highest potential to make their dreams happen and provide leadership at local, regional, and national levels.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to introduce a modern education model blended with character and value education for holistic development (emotional, mental, social, moral, and intellectual development) and for the creation of a greater sense of responsibility, confidence, and self-control in children of early age (ECED). Our mission is also to expose and orient children of early age with local and modern knowledge, skills, and values through best pedagogical practices which are prerequisites for living in the 21st century as effective community leaders.
